Hello! The first meeting was a blast! So happy for all of those who came, and excited for who else will be joining us next week. The prompt for next week is above, so for all of those who are looking to join us and would like to write a short(maximum length of 5 pages) story for the prompt are more than welcome to. In fact it would be fantastic if you did. If you email it to us, we can print it off for you and extra copies for others to look at and edit with you for your own growth in the craft.

I know. It's scary sharing your writing. Terrifying really. It stops your blood cold when someone picks up one of your notebooks, doesn't it? It's our goal, as the Young Writers of Addison County,  to help you get comfortable sharing your work with others. If you aren't comfortable sharing your work with the group, that's completely alright. We don't want to make you do anything you don't want to.

Monday(the 18th) we worked on a list of questions to find out who you are as a writer as well as what your subconscious wants you to write. And possibly next week we will be doing another one of these quizzes.

Anyway, that's what happened Monday. We really hope to see you next Monday from 5-7 at the Bixby library in Vergennes. And for lack of confusion of where we are, there will be signs!
